aNGUS CUTTING

During construction Bob Davies employed occasional labour and when this very shallow cutting was being dug out by these two labourers, both called Angus, there was a monumental hailstorm and the cutting was named after them in recognition of their efforts. Over the years it has now become a low embankment as the line has been re-levelled.
